Participatory approaches enable young people to express their views, share decision-making and influence the delivery of services to ensure that provision reflects their interests and needs. Highlighting the importance of the above-mentioned, Peace Gate for Development Organization (PGDO) conducted a workshop with the participation of youth individuals. The one-day workshop entailed a wide-range of interactive and engaging activities. Hence, the workshop provided the youth an opportunity to reflect on how they see their role within their communities. In addition, it allowed them to strategically analyze their communities and specify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The youth contributed to brainstorming some solutions and potential interventions that if implemented, might create positive impactful change. Throughout the following, the youth members were capable of expressing their diverse thoughts, views, and opinions without discrimination.
