Peace Gate for development organization performed a focus group discussion with a group of 10 girls and women in the area of Baharka in Iraq. The purpose behind this discussion was to understand how these participants view their role as females in the community. In addition, the discussion focused on the living conditions of these women as well as their evident needs. Throughout the discussion, several questions were posed and responded to by which all outcomes will be utilized to set plans for future interventions that support in responding to all documented needs. At the end of the discussion, the women and girls were provided with a small gift as a souvenir.
